Lucas Pertile was born in Resistencia, Chaco, in 1976. He studied Graphic Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (UBA), and drawing and painting with the Argentine plastic artist Miguel Ángel Ronsino.
At the end of 2009, he created DU (Diseñadores Unidos), a multidisciplinary independent design studio and in 2013, with Calavera Sur Textiles, he sold his designs in the United States and Europe. Since 2014, he has participated in different art fairs in the Asian market such as Beirut Art Fair (2015/16) and Singapore Art Fair (2015). His works were published by the Dutch magazine Eigenhu & Interieur and the Argentine magazines Entrecasa and Göoo, also in various art catalogs. His works are part of collections in Argentina, Singapore, Beirut, the United States, Norway, the Czech Republic, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil.
